With regard to the merit and services, past and present, of his abbot, Pietro of Forte Nobile, who is going to that city, with his mother and brother, upon his own affairs; the King recommends him strongly to the Bishop. He requests his ambassador to speak to the Signoria on the abbot's behalf, and to do all in his power to help and serve him, which will be most pleasing to the King.
